I knew before I was 10 that I wanted to do something artistic and have always been fascinated by the way light draws your eye as it creates its own perceived reality with shapes and forms. I subscribe to the expression ‘to have an artistic eye’ and love that I have the ability to capture something I see and share it with others. Initially gravitating towards architecture and design, I didn’t even purchase a camera until sometime in the mid 90’s.  The expression ‘be careful what you wish for’ comes to mind, as what began as a serious hobby, or some would say obsession turned into a full-time occupation by 2008.

My photography work has been published and recognized internationally with nominations to the winner’s circle in 2009, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019 and 2021 to the prestigious International Black and White Spider Awards as well as the International Color Awards in 2021.

Jeph and his wife Amanda own and manage a successful fine art and boudoir photography studio together in Seattle Washington.
